Europe trip #2 - June 22, 2022 - Out and In Again

We’ve landed in Munich and are cruising our way to the Central Station. An hour and a half there then a long train down into Italy.

Back in DC, the silver line continues it’s crawl out to Dulles airport. It was part way there when we left 9 years ago. It’s now mostly there but it’s not there there. So the smooth trip that we make in Munich, off the plane onto public transit, this isn’t available in the US yet.

Speaking of transit, Germany has an incredible summer deal. $10/pp gets you unlimited transit in country (the fastest trains are excluded). We will be using it when we get back, a 90-minute train ride up to Regensburg, another 90 minute train ride back and all the public transit in between.
