Number Games

Last Thursday, we picked up the bounty below at the Public Market. The non-bread items cost $29. As part of a walking plan (more on this later), I walked out to our local Wegmans to comparison shop. How much do you think this cost at a grocery store? Answer at the end of this post.

I get a little over-enthusiastic at chasing a numeric goal. Our European Adventure offered the opportunity to double my normal steps goal by averaging 20k a day. It took extra effort on the last day of the month, but I got it.

Back to the Wegman’s comparison shop. $29 at the Public Market would have been $107.52 if we bought it at the Grocery Store. Wow!
