Europe Trip #1 - April 25, 2022 - At The Madrid Airport

The drive to the airport from our apartment was quick, due to the driver’s love of speed, and smoky due to Spanish love of smoking. Turns out the masks are multi -purpose. 😁

I had to go back through security to drink the 1/4 cup of water I left in one of the water bottles, then get my hands and waistband swabbed to make sure I had no explosives residue, but everyone was professional and respectful and it’s another story to add to the stack.

A short 2 1/2 hour flight to Frankfurt, then the long flight to Dulles. A long day ending in the home of loved ones.

Don’t try and pull your tricks on us this time, Frankfurt. We know your wily ways.
