Elsa Was Here
We’ve enjoyed marveling at the array of icicles and ice dams that abound throughout our neighborhood. They often look like they weigh hundreds of pounds and it is a marvel that any gutters are still hanging on.
We don’t understand yet how they are created or how to stop them, but we are grateful that our new house doesn’t seem to have the tendency to create them.
On our afternoon walk yesterday, we were stunned into a halt when we saw the longest ice shard we have ever seen. The urge to grab hold of was strong except you felt pretty sure it would bring about your own death when it spiked you from neck to ankles.
Come visit. We have many more natural wonders to show you. 😁
