Helpful, not kind

Mommie2zs has found her people. New Yorkers are quarrelsome, contrary and most importantly, direct. It’s the directness that she revels in.

Some fun experiences (that I’ve heard about second-hand) included going to a construction supplier that had a hidden entrance. When she called for directions from the parking lot, it was clear the owner thought she was a moron. But that’s okay! There’s so many morons in the world, it wasn’t personal.

Every time she gets to argue just a little bit, fight for what she wants, make a friend, I see these big happy eyes and feel the glow in her heart.
