Tails of Turo
Turo is a person-to-person car rental app. I learned of it from Jenny when they were back this summer and got their rental car that way.
Buds agreed it was a good use of the Fit since it has just been sitting in our driveway. I like the human connection and he likes making use of our resources.
It’s been an easy process so far, and I’m loving the stories we’re getting from people.
Our very first rental was a white father and son. The son was being married in 28 days and needed to learn to drive a manual for their honeymoon in Italy.
That made us smile for all the reasons.
Yesterday’s rental was two white male friends. One of the friends is in a movie, filming tomorrow, and he has to be able to drive a manual.
The only thing that would make it more Nashville is if he had to be playing a guitar while driving.
Not all of our renters are using it as a “learn to drive,” car, but it does have super easy shifting so it’s ideal for that.
Can’t wait to hear more of the stories from renters to come.
