This Worked Out Nicely

Yessa, Mocha, and I arrived home safe and speedy from Virginia last night.

Today, Monkey has her pre-study assessment at Vandy. I was excited to go because I hoped to see her brain being scanned, but my presence in the small rooms was rebuffed in the time of covid, so I took a beautiful walk around campus on this sunny day and now I’m having a mini picnic with an iced coffee while I wait for the end of her testing.

It’s a fantastic way to spend an afternoon and I can’t wait to hear how she felt about the process.
