It took about 15 minutes from check- in to back at the car. Eight registrars to help folks, lots of voting machines and “hosts” to explain how the voting machines work.
When Monkey’s voting “host” learned she was a first-timer, he yelled out an announcement and everyone cheered.
Everyone in line was masked, the poll workers were masked, gowned, gloved, and some also wore plastic face shields.
Overall an easy, smooth experience, and I’m proud to have been there when she did it.
