I'll Take It
I asked the youngest if she wanted to do something together and she waffled for a bit then said, “Sure.”
I laughed and said, “You don’t have to. I don’t mind.”
With that sweet twinkle she replied, “When you ask me to do something and I’m not sure I really want to do it, I remind myself you’ll be dead in 40 years and I want to spend the time with you.”
I couldn’t ask for more.
