Vermont Memories

Yessa and I went on a walk today and as we walked past a friend’s house she exclaimed, “Do they have maple sugar?!”
“What?” I asked, perplexed.
She pointed toward Glenda’s driveway and I understood.
“No, honey. Some people just use those to hold garbage.”

it gets boiled down.
There will be no sugaring for us this year, but I’m so grateful she has the memory of many good times.
