Dinner And Done
Monkey was still zonked, but the rest of us roused ourselves and walked about half a mile to “Belmondo” for our dinner. It’s an Italian restaurant, and it was delicious. The only drawback was sitting in the relaxing, cool outside patio, surrounded by smokers. Lots of smokers here, of all ages.
Mom grew up in Belmond, IA, so she applauded our dinner choice.
And on the way there we passed by:
That brought a smile to all of us, too.
It started to sprinkle on us on the way back, but still a lovely night.
And the feel of the plaza we walked through reminded us of Lake Anne where we lived in Virginia.
A delightful kick-off to our Germany adventure.
