How Rude...Or Not...

Conversation in the car today:

Yessa: Mom, do you want to know who the rudest person in the world is?

Me: The Grinch?

Yessa: No, Buster.

Buster: Mom, do you want to know who the rudest person in the world is?

Me: The Grinch?

Buster: No. Yessa.

Yessa, in a semi-hysterical scream: I’m not rude! If anything I’m mean. Mean and rude are very different.

Snorts of laughter all around as Yessa smiles.
