Nashville and Woodstock

I remember hearing once that millions of people say they were at Woodstock, though estimates are about 1/2 million attended. I’m beginning to feel this way about Nashville musicians.

We had a great guy come to give us an estimate on a new roof on Saturday afternoon. As we often do, we ended up inside visiting, and he told us he came to Nashville for a music career and traveled with Hank Williams, Jr. for years. At the end of his career he had to choose between his family and being a musician, and he chose his family. This is something else we’ve heard before.

I don’t doubt him, it just feels a little bit like living in a magical world that is so foreign to us.

He endeared himself to us even more when he looked at Buds and said, “You wrestled, didn’t you?”

What’s not to love?
