Christmas Eve- 2013

Buds worked from home on Christmas Eve Day, which was a gift to all of us right from the start.

As is usual, we attended church on Christmas Eve. We didn’t know what to expect at our new church, but it was a lovely, and pretty quick service. Buds had a reading…from the perspective of Joseph. I played with the Bell Choir; which suffered a minor train wreck, but managed to limp to the station, and sang in the choir. We sang “In Dulce Jubilo,” which was a joy to sing. Cousins joined us at our church this year, which made it an even more joyful event.

Then back to our house with cousins to have some dinner and to open a few presents.

It was a restful, comfortable evening; a great way to begin the holiday season.
