Monkey suggested I get a post up tonight, which I agree is a great idea. I’m very tired, though, and our 2 pods come tomorrow, and I’m heading for snoozville shortly, so a picture story with captions seems like a good way to go.
As I may have mentioned, Buds came up with the name for our new home: The Shoebox. It’s a play on words referring to both the shape of the house, and our love of CrossFit.

Super-sized…The Master Bath, which I love. Cupboards need to be painted a less “muddy-coffee” color, but I love the white tile and the sink.The sink I adore, but Buds doesn’t care for as much. My sweetie niece asked to be held up to look out the window, and she wanted to know, “Will Aunt Jennie be able to see the chickens from her window?” Yes, Sweet One, I will.
That’s the quick and dirty tour. We’ve already made several improvements to the house, and we are absolutely in love with the size and space and land. Very much looking forward to the arrival of our belongings tomorrow. Camping in the house has been good, but we are all very ready for actual beds.
