Because The Buster’s Birthday was on a Wednesday, and Buds was out of town on his birthday, we started his birthday on Wednesday, and carried it through the weekend.
There were some presents to open on his birthday, and it was a bit of a present to see Dad all dressed up as he prepared to fly out on a business trip. That alone made the day memorable.
The best fun of the whole week was Uncle Zach and his strawberry misadventure. He was a great sport.
Now, since I’m writing this up on June 23rd, two months post-birthday, as I’m sitting in our home between potential buyers on Open House Day, I’m going to have to let the pictures tell the story, because I can’t remember the whole story.

Much loved Buster on his 9th birthday. That about sums it up.
